Early Gender Detection Test

Beginning around just 5 weeks gestation, tiny fragments of DNA from a developing embryo travel through the placenta and into the mother’s bloodstream. This test works by analyzing the fetal DNA present the blood sample taken from the mother. This method detects the presence of male or female chromosomes in the mother’s blood to determine the baby's gender. This Early Gender Reveal test has shown an accuracy rate of 99.5%.* Results are typically available within a few days after the sample is received at the lab.
