A Peace of Mind Paternity Test is used to confirm the biological connection between an alleged father and a child. It works by comparing the DNA of the alleged father to the DNA of the child. DNA Paternity testing involves a cheek swab sample that is collected from both the alleged father and the child in question. If possible, it is preferred to have the child’s mother participate in the test as well, since she contributed 50% of her DNA to the child. Testing can still be done without child's mother. This cannot be used in court or for any legal purposes.
